Experience : 3 to 4 years of experience working on Microsoft SQL Server Database (2000, 2005, 2008,2012)

Job Description : We are looking for a DBA/Developer with following responsibilities

· Performance Tuning, Good knowledge of Query tuning, SQL Profiler, Execution Plan, Query Hint, DMV, Wait statistics

· Checking disk spaces, fragmentation, blocking, deadlock and fix it.

· Establishing the needs of users and monitoring user access and security

· Further refining the 'physical design' to meet system storage requirements

· Implementing and troubleshooting MS SQL Replication

· Writing database documentation, including data standards, procedures and definitions for the data dictionary ('metadata')

· Maintaining data standards, including adherence to the Data Protection Act

· Controlling access permissions and privileges

· Developing, managing and testing backup and recovery plans

· Ensuring that storage, archiving, backup and recovery procedures are functioning correctly

· Capacity planning

· Working closely with IT project managers, database programmers and web developers

· Communicating regularly with technical, applications and operational staff to ensure database integrity and security

· Commissioning and installing new applications

· Establishing the needs of users and monitoring user access and security;

Candidate Profile : Candidate should be B.E./M.C.A.

Communication Skill : Good command over ENGLISH is a must

Position : Permanent

Salary : As per company standard

Joining Period : Immediately

Candidates must be self-motivated and able to work independently. They should have good communication, analytical, and problem solving skills as well.
